The Croatian-born designer “Damir Doma” grew up surrounded by toiles in his mother’s atelier in Germany. After gaining experience in the ateliers of designers Raf Simons and Dirk Schönberger he relocated to Paris. His collections are lit by a soft, melancholic quest for tranquility can be found in leading luxury and avant-garde boutiques across the globe.
I have followed his work for some time. But this time he has surpassed himself. These pictures are an outtake from his latest show in Paris at the Faculté de Pharmacie. His S/S 2012 men’s collection is elegant and futuristic. Everything seems to float. No one else controls the lightness of being like him.
