“Nikita” is a French film from 1990. The film is about a young criminal who is recruited to work for French intelligence alias DGSE. It was one of the first movies of Luc Besson, starring the incredible female actor “Anne Parillaud”. Her initial mission, killing a diplomat in a crowded restaurant and escaping back to the Centre, is the film’s highlight; she graduates and begins life as a sleeper agent in Paris.
I saw this film for the first time in years age of 11. The first contact to the film was when I did find the original film poster in an abandoned theater, near to my neighborhood. Its powerful images and background music by Eric Serra impress me even to this day.
