The Olivensteins are the first French punk rock band formed in Rouen in April 1978 by two brothers, Eric and Gilles Tandy. Their greatest success is the title “Je suis fier de ne rien faire”. The name of the band comes from the psychoanalyst and founder of the drug treatment center Marmottan Dr. Claude Olievenstein. In June 1978 the group made ​​its first concert, with early style provocative (especially the songs with “Patrick Henry est innocent ou Pétain”, “Darlan” and “c’était le bon temps”).
